What Are Hemp Concentrates?
Concentrates are the most potent products on the hemp menu, made by pulling the good stuff out of the plant into a small, intense form. If you have seen diamonds, live resin, rosin, or badder and wondered what sets them apart, here is a plain-language starting point.
What hemp concentrates are
A concentrate is about what it sounds like. Producers take hemp flower and extract the parts people are after, the cannabinoids and aromatic terpenes, into a small, concentrated form. The result is far more potent by weight than loose flower or a pre-roll.
Every concentrate on our shelves is hemp-derived and tests under 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, with a third-party lab COA you can read before you buy. Like all of our products, concentrates are for adults 21 and older with a valid government-issued photo ID.
The types you will see on the menu
- Diamonds: crystal-like structures that are very high in a single cannabinoid, often served in a terpene-rich sauce.
- Live resin: made from fresh, flash-frozen plants, so it keeps a fuller, truer-to-plant aroma.
- Rosin: pressed from the plant with heat and pressure, a solventless option.
- Badder and budder: whipped into a soft, cake-frosting texture that is easy to handle.
Names and textures vary, and wax, sauce, and crumble all describe similar potent extracts. The COA is what tells you exactly what is in the jar.
How people use them, and why to go slow
Most concentrates are meant to be vaporized, not eaten. The two common ways are a dab rig, which heats a tiny amount into a vapor, and a compatible vape device built for extracts. A little goes a long way.
Because they are so concentrated, a small amount contains much more than the same amount of flower. If you are new to concentrates, start with a very small amount and wait before adding more. This is general education, not medical or dosing advice. Rules around hemp vary and can change, so check what applies where you are.

What are hemp concentrates?
They are potent extracts of the hemp plant, sold as diamonds, live resin, rosin, badder, and similar. They are hemp-derived and test under 0.3% Delta-9 THC by dry weight, with a COA on every product.
Are hemp concentrates strong?
Yes. Concentrates are much more potent by weight than flower, so they are usually used in very small amounts. If you are new to them, start low and go slow.
How do you use hemp concentrates?
Most are vaporized with a dab rig or a vape device made for extracts, rather than eaten. A tiny amount is typical. Ask our Schererville team if you are not sure which setup fits a product.
What is the difference between diamonds, live resin, and rosin?
Diamonds are crystal-like and very high in one cannabinoid, live resin is made from fresh frozen plants for a fuller aroma, and rosin is pressed with heat and pressure without solvents. The label and COA spell out the details.
